IALE(UK) organises regular conferences around the UK bringing together academics, practitioners and research students to discuss topical themes related to landscape ecology. The 2008 conference "Landscape Ecology and Conservation" will be held at Cambridge University between 8th - 11th September 2008.

IALE(UK) supports occasional one-day workshops to discuss landscape ecology issues relevant to practitioners. The recent event "Applying principles of landscape ecology to green infrastructure in urban design and planning" was held in December 2007 at The University of Northampton.
